To rent a self-storage unit, we require the occupant’s name, address, phone number, and email, as well as one alternate contact. Our simple, online application process shows everything that we require for renting a storage unit
Insurance is not required, but we do not provide insurance for your self-storage unit. We strongly encourage our occupants to add their storage to their homeowner’s policy or renters’ insurance.
Yes, occupants are allowed to rent multiple storage units at a time.
Rent is due on the 1st of month, and we allow a 5 day grace period.
Rent is subject to change; however, it is something we rarely do. If the rent is raised, there will be a 30-day notice to all occupants.
Yes, you do need to provide your own lock. We do sell a circular lock for $15 for your convenience. For your storage lock, we recommend making sure the shank is not too thick or too long to fit the storage unit.
We require a 30 day notice emailed or mailed. The storage unit should be swept clean, lock should be removed, then notify us when you have moved out.
It’s a month to month agreement, with a minimum of 30 days notice to end the contract.
Yes, you will need to show your license and fill out a form stating the license number, make of vehicle/boat, and proof of insurance.
A small vehicle and boat can fit inside. Outside storage at our Troy location is for larger vehicles and boats.
